MURIC described the appointments as lopsided.     This was contained in a statement circulated by the Director of the organization, Professor Ishaq Akintola, on Thursday 9 th  July, 2020.     The group said, “Governor Makinde appointed six chairmen of governing boards yesterday, Wednesday 8 th July, 2020 but only one of them (Lateef Sanni) is a Muslim. By Peter Moses, Abeokuta |  Jul 7, 2020  Police in Ogun State have arrested a 44-year-old Pastor of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Ogo Oluwa Parish, Oluwafemi Oyebola for allegedly raping his own daughter (name withheld). It was learnt that the pastor was arrested following a complaint by his daughter who reported at Owode-Egbado divisional headquarters.  A statement by Command Spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi quoted her to have reported that the father had been forcefully having carnal knowledge of her since 2015 when she was 19 years old shortly after the demise of her mother. According to her, she got pregnant for her father three times and the father took her to a nurse where those pregnancies were aborted.
