Recall that a tornado of criticism greeted NBA’s dropping of El-Rufai from the list of speakers at its 2020 Virtual Annual General Conference (AGC) which is billed to take place from 26 th  to 29 th  August, 2020.     Meanwhile MURIC, which previously called on Northern lawyers to boycott the conference has cautioned NBA against any attempt to divide Nigerian Muslims. MURIC also raised the issue of many qualified Muslim teachers on grade level 17 who are still marking time when they should have been appointed principals.     “The Director of MURIC, Professor Ishaq Akintola, made the appeal in a statement issued on Tuesday, 18 th  August, 2020.     The statement reads:   “Lagos State has been divided into six education districts since the days of Chief Bola Tinubu. Each education district has a tutor general/permanent secretary saddled with the responsibility of overseeing the activities of the schools and their personnel. Tinubu, a Muslim, ensured fairness by sharing the six posts 50:50 between Muslims and Christians.

By  Ibrahim Agunbiade The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has expressed appreciation to the Executive Chairman of the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission, Pastor Akinade Alamu, for his “swift” explanation on why Muslims who took its Computer-Based Test for employment were given Christian questions.   The explanation of the TESCOM boss followed an allegation by MURIC that the employers of teachers in Oyo State had Christianised the CBT test held on August 11, 2020. The Islamic human rights association made the allegation on August 14. But in a swift reaction, Alamu   issued a press statement   in which he explained that the incident was not deliberate. It blamed the development on computer technicalities, adding that some Christian candidates were also given questions on Islamic knowledge. The statement was signed by the TESCOM Permanent Secretary, Grace Olabisi Oderinde. MURIC on Sunday in a statement by its Director, Prof. Ishaq Akintola, commended the Executive Chairman of TESCOM for
