The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has rebuked a yet to identified man, called Lateef Akande over his statement on Professor Ishaq Akintola. In a filthy writeup titled: "Psychoanalysis of Ishaq Akintola, the Taliban." Lateef Akande accused  Professor Akintola over his Jihad activities in Nigeria and the world at large. According to Akande. Professor Akintola is “an hypocrite, coward” who attacks some  Yoruba Christians and leave alone some Yoruba Christians to attack.  Akande also claimed to be "once a member of MURIC, infact, one of the first recruits." He accused MURIC director of been "a divisive agent provocateur whose legacy is to promote and create religious violence in Yorubaland." MURIC however fired back through the Ambassador of its Oyo State Chapter, Mallam Ibrahim Agunbiade  who issued a press statement on Sunday, 17th March 2024.
