NSCDC Parades Three Suspected Cattle Thieves In Ibadan

Three suspected cattle rustlers were paraded in Ibadan on Monday by the Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corp.

The suspects three suspects were Fulani.


They were arrested at Kara Market in Ogbomosho for the theft of two Cows valued at five hundred thousand naira(500,000) belonging to one Mohammed Bello.

While parading the suspects today at the Command State Headquarters Agodi Ibadan, Oyo State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence (NSCDC), Iskilu Akinsanya, gave the names of the suspects as Aliu Beidu “m” 20yrs from Niger State, Buba Bello “M” 25yrs and Shatari Buba “M” 20yrs both from Kwara State.

He explained that Aliu Beidu who lives at Bolorundoro Village of Orire Local Government of Oyo State invited Buba Bello and Shatari Buba from Kwara State for the theft before they were arrested around 1400hrs on Wednesday 22nd of July 2020 by NSCDC Agro Ranger of Oyo State stationed in Ogbomosho.

He further stated that the suspects will be arraigned in Court after the conclusion of the investigation. Though the suspects confessed to have committed the offence and pleaded to the Government to have mercy on them.

However, Akinsanya, warned those that are in habit of theft, Cattle rustling and other Criminal vices to vacate the State as anybody caught will face the full wrath of the law.

He also called on good people of the State to always give credible informations to the command for effective and prompt response to crime.
